Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 *Giveaway* Published on Monday, January 24, 2011 by

I’ve just returned from an amazing weekend in Los Angeles with Disney.  Twenty bloggers from around the country came together for the release of Gnomeo and Juliet.  The weekend was filled with many surprises including a special screening of I Am Number Four and Mars Needs Moms, exclusive sneak peeks of Disney’s 2011 film releases, a visit to the set of the Muppets and a private concert by Elton John.  More  about the trip very soon!

This week, I thought it would be fitting to highlight a few new Disney DVD releases set to come out this month and next.

On February 1st, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will release Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 for Blu-ray and DVD.  Here is a brief synopsis from the site, since I have not yet seen either film:

Everybody’s favorite talking Chihuahuas are back in a comedy that’s a pack of outrageous fun for the whole family. Puppy mayhem turns the lives of newlywed Chihuahua parents, Papi and Chloe, upside down when their playful puppies present one challenge after another. But, when their human owners find themselves in trouble, the tiny pups will stop at nothing to save them—because in good times and hard times, the family always sticks together. Papi, Chloe and the puppies embark on a heroic adventure, proving once again that big heroes come in small packages.

With George Lopez as Papi, the movie is bound to have some of his unique personality and humor.  The Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 Blu-Ray Combo Pack will be available for $39.99.

Featuring an all-star cast, including George Lopez (voice of Papi), and complete with a litter of bonus features, this heartwarming tale of the meaning of family, friendship and loyalty is a special breed of fun—times five.

    My daughter & I Loved the 1st movie!!! Sophia thinks it’s so fun that the silly “chillwallas”(that’s how’s she pronounces it :) ) talk… Haha! She is very excited about the 2nd movie & is already asking to see it & when can we get it. So we would definitely appreciate & Love this giveaway very much!! :) Fingers crossed!!!

    I have not seen the first movie but my Mom LOVES it. She told me about a scene where a bunch of chihuahuas were all running together and it being super funny. She has a chihuahua who she adores so this is just her kind of movie. If you haven’t guessed this would be for my Mom ;D

    I watched the first one with my daughter on a day she was home sick from school. We both enjoyed the movie. She is a huge dog lover. I just think all the little dogs running around talking is so funny. Can’t wait to see what it’s like with all the little babies! :)

    I haven’t seen the first movie, but I really want to see this one because every time the commercial comes on, my doggies go crazy. They LOVE the dogs on the TV and actually watch the commercial, Nano actually sits down in front of the TV to watch. TeeHee!

    My kids and I have watched the 1st movie, I think my 2 year old has seen it 50 times or more..seriously. She loves the movie and her favorite part is when Papi is jumping up and down behind the fence trying to talk to Chloe..she cracks up at that part everytime. She has a stuffed chihuahua that looks like Chloe, and of course thats what she named her :) Now she says she just needs Papi! So she would be so excited if I won this for her!!     My kids & I saw the 1st movie in the theater and loved it! It was so much better story-wise than I expected. So I know we would love the 2nd one, too…since it has the same dogs that we loved the 1st time around!

    We loved the first movie mostly because we have a family of Chihuahuas. Mommy, daddy, and 2 little girls. These are smart and amazing animals.When the first movie came out they actually sat still and watched it. My Roscoe looks just like Cloe e. It is like watching him in action. They are very mischievous dogs. They are also smart. My thoughts for a new movie were a family with puppies. They are all a lap full. They are our babies. We would not trade them for the world.

    We have not seen the first movie yet but we are planning to rent it for family night this weekend. It would really be nice to win this too! Thanks for the chance.

    I haven’t seen teh first movie but I know my little sister liked it so I thought I’d try to win this for her. She loves little dogs that wear clothes which is the main attraction to both movies, lol.
