Technology has advanced the world of video gaming such that children can learn how to count, teens can rock out on a real guitar, and adults can improve physical fitness. My son hasn't been exposed to much in the way of gaming. The games he has played were designed to be educational.
Last week, Disney Interactive Studios, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment,... Read More »

While I wouldn't consider myself a "couponer," I peruse the local circular and online websites in search of relevant coupons. There are numerous coupon and money-saving resources, however, I don't have a lot of time to spend on research.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret...I don't usually cook for Thanksgiving! My husband and I are fortunate enough to have parents and grandparents that like to invite us and feed us. The one or two years we've celebrated in our home, we've shared the cooking responsibilities with the rest of our family or catered in.

One of the things my husband and I really enjoy is the theater. While we were in NYC, we had the opportunity to see two live performances. If time and money were not an issue, we would have tried to see at least another show. Fortunately, we live in Southern California where there is an abundance of live entertainment every single day.
Now through November 18... Read More »

One of the things my husband and I love about owning a home is the freedom to personalize it to our liking. We prefer a modern, contemporary look and feel to our home and our current style includes colors like chocolate and olive.

The number of days I dress up, apply makeup, and actually do something with my hair each week is rare and inconsistent. I call it success when I get in 5 minutes of interrupted shower and dress time. Most days I let my curly hair dry naturally, often without anything in it. I thus rely heavily on effective shampoo and conditioning products to keep my hair mana... Read More »

I remember shopping for Ralph Lauren on the sale racks at Nordstrom with my mom during high school. The brand, to me, has always symbolized luxury, style, and class. Because I don't work in a profession that requires business attire, I don't own many wardrobe pieces that would work well in an office setting. But a pair of black pants can always be dressed up or ... Read More »

Last night Andrea, Angie, April, Janice, Tracy and I graced the red carpet for the World Premiere of Nutcracker 3D. My daughter is right in the midst of exploring and expanding her palate. I adore this time when I get to introduce my daughter to the wonderful world of food (because who doesn't like to eat?!?!).
