Nominate Someone Extraordinary *Giveaway* Published on Friday, April 16, 2010 by

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Clarissa. Congrats!

As a mom and a nurse, I spend most of the day as a caregiver, educator, role model, and so much more. And while I’m often asked how I accomplish everything, there are people all over the country effecting change and inspiring others in incredible ways. A friend of mine flew out to Haiti as soon as he was able, following their recent earthquake.  Nurses on my unit have traveled overseas, unpaid, to help out with medical efforts in under-served countries.

This year marks the 5th anniversary of Energizer’s Keep Going Hall of Fame, initiated to honor “ordinary  people with unstoppable energy.”  We often see celebrities recognized for their efforts to support a cause.  But what about your child’s teacher or your next door neighbor?  People all across the country are making a difference in their communities…and they deserve to be recognized.

Through April 23, you can nominate a colleague, friend, or family member who is an inspiration to you.  The inductee will receive $10,000 in cash prize and $5,000 to donate to his/her charity of choice. Simply visit Energizer’s Keep Going Hall of Fame.

Win It! One of you will win a 24-pack of Energizer Max batteries to celebrate this program.  Simply visit the site.  Then come back here to comment with someone you feel would make a good nominee for the Keep Going Hall of Fame.  Comments will close on April 23, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST.  One comment per person, please (unless you do the extra credit). US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. If you don’t want to leave your email address, please be sure to check back for my announcement on the winner. Please note that winners must respond within 48 hours of being announced/contacted or another winner will be drawn.Want an extra entry? Do any or all of the following and receive an extra entry for each one.

Be sure to leave me a separate comment for each additional entry.
