I recently told you about EcoTools‘ new cosmetic brushes, which launched a few days ago along with four videos offering makeup tips from celebrity makeup artist Merdith Baraf.  If you want to learn how to create fabulous looks from the comfort of your home, with your very own brushes, I highly recommend checking out the videos.

And to show you how easy it is to create these looks with brushes from EcoTools, two of you will win brush sets, courtesy of the company.

Win It! Simply check out one (or more of the videos).  Then leave me a comment with your favorite tip from any of the videos.  Comments will close on February 21, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST.  One comment per person, please (unless you do the extra credit). US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated.     I liked how she put the foundation on with a brush. I have never seen anyone do that. And she went back in with concealer afterward.

    i didn’t see any videos on the site but one of the tips I learned on the site was how to use the Mineral Powder Brush
    Apply powder or mineral foundation all over face in a circular, buffing motion and work inward towards nose

    No videos.. I did learn to File nails in one direction from side to center to avoid weakening nails – leave the back-and-forth “sawing” to the lumberjacks.

    I’m not a makeup guru, but I’d love these brushes to start me out. They’re eco-friendly, so I can’t resist.

    I learned how to refresh eye shadow simply by reblending if there is a crease.

    I learned that to create a flawless complexion you need to think about three things–an even complexion, creating some natural dimension, and giving yourself a sun-kissed glow. To achieve this you need four products–concealer, foundation, bronzer, and blush.

    I checked out the cat eye video because I absolutely love the look of that! I found it helpful that she suggested looking down and out when lining the inner corner of your eye. I always had a hard time getting that area straight so I think this tip will help!

    I thought she had several great tips in the smokey eye video, namely about how it’s about making a gradient of color, starting darker and moving to lighter. Also, she talked about how you could use a different color, not just black- grey, copper, and navy can also look nice.

    Didn’t find any videos, but I did learn that for precise lining, keep the brush’s longer bristles toward the inside corner of the eye.

    In the Flawless Face video, I liked the tip about smiling when you apply blusher so that you get the color on the “apples of your cheeks.”

    I watched the Touch Up Tips video. My favorite tip was using a kubuki brush to add bronzer and then blush back to your face. Very quick and easy.

    the video on a flawless face gave a great tip that I’ve never heard before:
    add concealer to the facial blemishes AFTER the foundation is on as opposed to BEFORE. great! can’t wait to try it.

    In the ‘Flawless Face’ video, I liked how Merdith Baraf explained about applying the foundation, then going back to touch up imperfections with the concealer in the four-step process. :)

    I enjoyed the Smokey Eye video, because it’s a look I am still trying to successfully accomplish. :-) I was happy to learn that I can use a brush to smudge the liner out, because usually I try a sponge or q-tip and typically the product wipes away too much (plus it’s a pain finding either of those items in the middle of make up application). :-)

    i like the flawless face video i liked the tip on blending in concealer around the eyes..i have never used concealer but as im getting older i have dark spots around my eyes so im going buy some tomorrow :)
