It’s during the holidays when family and friends spend the most time together.  My husband and I like to entertain…to open our home to host guests for conversation and a meal.  One of the things I just love about the holidays is decorating.  I like putting Christmas towels in the bathroom and spiced candles in our living room.

Up until about a week ago, we didn’t have a tablecloth for the table we bought a few months ago.  If you have children, then you know that NOT having a tablecloth invites mischief.  My husband and I are enjoy nice things, but we purchase everything in our home with the mindset of children.  In other words, we know that our little boy is going to eat snacks on the couch or try to paint or draw on the table.  We never let “things” get in the way of his childhood.  I’d rather have a table with scratches and a happy child (not that we ALLOW him to do this kind of thing…but you get my point).  With that being said, a tablecloth is a very handy thing to have, regardless of whether or not you have children.
