Last month I attended a blogger event at General Mills.  The company has been incredible to work with.  They value our input and are constantly trying to improve their products for the consumer.  As I mentioned in my previous post, they are striving to offer organic and all-natural product alternatives.  Some of those Cascadian Farm, Muir Glen, and  Pillsbury’s new Simply cookies which are delicious and free from trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

There were many, many products featured (with posts to follow over the next several weeks).  One that I was actually very interested to learn more about was not entirely food-related.  Box Tops is a program that helps raise money for your local school.  It’s a great way to make a difference in your child’s school and community. You can join the Box Tops for Education Facebook fan page or follow them on Twitter for the latest. This is just one more way the company is giving back!

Since it’s nearly impossible to fit anything other than clothing and cosmetics into a suitcase designed for one night, the company sent a box of snacks and goodies from the new lines they were promoting at the event.  Thank you General Mills!  You’ve blown me away once again!

    We live on General Mills’ products here, but I think my favorite is Multi-Grain Cheerios with fresh Minnesota blueberries. Our Catholic school participates in the Box Tops program and has bought many new computers and classroom aids with the money we’ve made. Thanks for looking out for our health and the health of our kids in so many ways!

    I love all the Nature Valley stuff that General Mills puts out. I don’t have a single favorite but never leave the store from my weekly shopping trip without my Fruit & Nut bars. Yummmmmmm!!!!

    Box Tops are amazing, aren’t they! Our school earned almost $600 last year from 1 of their 3 Box Tops drives!!!

    I have written so many love letters to General Mills I don’t know where to begin. They have such a great line of gluten-free products (Chex, Yoplait, now some yummy (for reals!) cake mixes) that make me so happy General Mills is a local company. I’d have to say Cinnamon Chex are my favorite General Mills product because they make my husband so incredibly happy. As someone who has to follow a relatively strict diet, he doesn’t get a lot of treats, but these really do the trick for him!!

    Thank you for the giveaway. I am actually a huge fan of General mills and especially support them because, of the boxtops for education program. My favorite products are the meal kits, cereals (so many to choose from!), just about anything they have.

    General Mills makes Betty Crocker products and we love them. Cake Mixes and Brownie Mixes from Betty… we can’t live without them!

    Its difficult to choose one because General Mills manufactures so many products that I really like.

    On the top of my list would be the Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. I like eating them with milk or just dry as a snack.
