Finally…after months and months without respite…we are going on a vacation!  Well…sort of.  We’re going to visit my in-laws in the South.  But still…it’s time away from home spent together as a family.  If I could go anywhere (with kids of course), I’d want to go somewhere scenic with lots of things to do.  When I go on vacation, I like to be a doer.  I like to see the sites and do the local activities.  While I enjoy relaxing dinners, sleeping in, and lazy days, going on vacation is my opportunity to see something I’ve never seen before.  And I want to experience everything the location has to offer.

Have you ever been to Colorado?  We have family in the Denver area and have vacationed many times with them.  Colorado is exquisite.  The mountains alone are enough to take your breath away.  I remember driving through the town of Vail and thinking to myself, now that is a place I’d like to spend some time in.
