Votre Vu Summer Giveaway

Do you ever walk into a department store, a little dazed and confused as you search for just the right face cream or skin care product?  I have to admit that when it comes to skin care, I rely heavily on the well-trusted opinions of my family and close friends because a. I don’t have time to try every single brand on the market and b. I don’t have the money to try every single brand on the market.  I love the freedom of choice we have here in the U.S. but sometimes that very freedom actually paralyzes me with indecision. All that to say, I hope this skin care review helps you just a little in making decisions about what I feel is one of the hardest types of products to shop for.

logo-headerAwhile back I did a giveaway for Votre Vu.  I was then contacted by the company to try a few of their products.  Having lived and traveled to many parts of the world, I have to admit that I just LOVE foreign products…particularly French products.  Votre Vu is a “privately held luxury skin care company offering the finest French-made formulations.”  I spoke to a representative of the company on the phone last week, who informed me that while there are many companies offering French skin care products which are made in the US, Votre Vu is unique in that all products are made in France.  The company offers skin care products for 4 different skin care types and the great thing is that most of the products are highly concentrated, requiring only a small amount for effectiveness.

    I would love to try the Royal Treatment Gentle Pearls Scrub Pour Le Visage! As for how I go about choosing my skin care products…I purchase them primarily on line. I use Pro Activ Acne products and I use organic skins products that I purchase from Nature’s Paradise, Belli Skin Care and one other on line organic skin care product company. I also purchase my mineral make-up products on-line. Most of the companies I have learned about through the blog sites I subscribe to:)

    My favorite product is PARFAIT NUIT Crème de Nuit Dry and Anti-Aging because I go for the moisturizer first because sometimes I am home all day and just put on a moisturizer. I also do go for the package,if its eye catching I will buy to try. I know thats bad but sometimes I luck out. We laugh about it because I told my daughter I am like a cat ,loves sparkling things!!! LOL

    This caught my eye – SnapDragon Beauty Beverage – check out the first sentence of the description –

    This delicious private blend of powerful anti aging super-fruits and botanicals features Mango, Pomegranate and Acai Berry juices.

    First of all…anything anti-aging sounds good to me right now since I’ll be turning the big 3-0 in 2 weeks. Have mercy on me! And secondly, that blend of fruits sounds delish! I’ll have one of those please!

    And honestly, I never thought much about skin care products aside from a face wash, which I usually stuck with one brand, neutrogena, because it was the only one that didn’t make me break out. My regimen is very simple to say the least =)
