Mother’s Day 2009: Toshiba Published on Monday, April 27, 2009 by

Moms today are BUSY!  We take care of our children, we keep our houses clean and in order, we shuttle our kids off to school and extra-curricular activities, we homeschool, we work at home, we work away from home and multi-task in so many ways.  Moms today are “in the know,” connected, and technologically savvy. We design websites, run companies, and teach (among many, many other professions).  We’re independent and knowledgeable.

I for one rely heavily on technology to keep me sane and focused on everything I need to do.  My smartphone, laptop, and GPS are staples that I use everyday.  If you know a mom who’s balancing her family and professional life (um…I don’t know any moms who aren’t) you may want to consider one of Toshiba‘s line of laptops designed for “work, play, and everyday.”

This 15.4″ notebook features tools to help moms stay organized with schedules, appointments, and family photos.  The computer has a built-in Webcam and microphone to help moms keep in touch with friends and family.

For the mom on the go:  The Portege A600 weights in at just 3.22 pounds (wow) and is priced under $1400.  It features a 12.1″ screen and comes equipped with video multimedia capabilities, an extended battery life, and the necessary tools to stay connected with family, friends, and co-workers.
