Missy Higgins Review and Giveaway

I first heard Missy Higgins‘ song “Where I Stood” on So You Think You Can Dance…one of my favorite shows! Courtney Galiano danced solos to both “Where I Stood” and “They Weren’t There.” The 24 year old Australian singer-songwriter has just released her new album entitled On a Clear Night, which is a blend of soulful, introspective ballads and uptempo beats. She is currently on tour with Indigo Girls, recently performed on the “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and her album is currently in the Top 20 on Itunes!

My favorite song is The Wrong Girl because everyone especially me at one time has loved someone or liked someone and thought they were with the wrong person and it should be you instead. I love her songs she has such an easy flowing voice that no matter what she sings it sounds beautiful. Would love to win this. Thank you for the chance =)
I watched Courtney Galiano dance to Where I Stood on SYTYCD and loved Missy Higgins voice. I had never heard of her and asked my husband to remind me to look her up. Of course, he forgot. What a coincidence this is! Where I Stood is still my favorite with Warm Whispers a close second. She has a lovely voice.

I actually have never hear of Missy Higgins. I’m not much of a radio listener and I don’t keep up with the new artists. I miss out on a lot but I keep going back to my old favorites.

My favorite is peachy, as she sounds so strong and the tune is fast/upbeat. But I also like the wrong girl, which has the complete opposite message! She has a great sound and voice.

I discovered Missy Higgins a few years back. Love her new album, especially “Forgive Me.” Not sure why , it just spoke to me. “Where I Stood” is pretty awesome also. I love the quality of her voice and that touch of Aussie accent. Thanks for the contest!

Going North-There is something about songs about leaving that I love. I guess when someone returns its a great feeling.
“Forgiveness” is terrific.
I like the song Where I Stood because the lyrics that say Se I thought love was black and white which is true for me.
