Kale With Ginger
Servings: 4
Ingredients
  • 1 large bunch kale rinsed with hard stems and center ribs removed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
  • 2 tsp neutral oil i.e. canola
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. Blanch kale in boiling water until bright green.

  2. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to an ice bath to cool. 

  3. Drain and set aside. 

  4. Heat the oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  6. Add the kale and stir-fry for a few minutes until wilted but still slightly crunchy.

  7. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and stir-fry for 30 seconds. 

  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
