Ingredients
  • 2` cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F


  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt in a large bowl

  3. Cut cold butter into dough

  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Do not over mix. 

  5. Place scones in prepared stone fire pan

  6. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes

  7. Serve with fresh whipped cream, if desired
