Preheat oven to 425°F

Roll out pizza dough onto a floured cutting board. Remember that the thickness of your focaccia is dependent on how thin you roll the dough out.

Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper

Place rolled out dough onto baking sheet

Brush olive oil onto dough

Sprinkle parmesan cheese onto dough

Layer onions and figs on top of cheese

Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted

Remove from oven and top with fresh arugula

Slice and serve immediately
