Ten days ago, Disney/Pixar's animated film Cars 2 raced to the #1 spot at the close of opening weekend. My son can't stop talking about the film, and it helps that we have some movie-inspired toys to keep us occupied. We've also been "training" with Finn McMissile in Cars 2: The Video Game.

When my husband and I decided to get the Wii, we envisioned it being years before our children would be able to enjoy it. A majority of the games we own are for us...to keep our minds and our bodies active. But as I'm learning, there is no shortage of games targeted towards preschoolers just like my son.

Since I am a total gamer, I was super excited (in a geeky sort of way) about an opportunity to speak with Pokémon Expert Seth McMahill. The very fact that Nintendo has a Pokémon Expert fascinates me. The video game series was first introduced 14 years ago, and Nintendo recently released Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version Video Games for the DS.

Earlier this week, I told you about the Disney Interactive Studios' new video game releases. Many of their new releases are based on popular Disney movies and shows.
