Overnight, our weather went from hot and dry to chilly and rainy, which might be one reason why I am sitting here curled up in bed, nursing a cup of tea in hopes it will help me feel better. The cold and flu season is here, and despite the fact that I usually prepare our family by getting extra rest, nutrients, and probiotics, I wasn’t expecting to be sick so early in the school year.
During BlogHer, I had an opportunity to meet with a wide variety of brands to discuss they’re latest news, products, and involvement with social media. On the rooftop of the Kimberly Hotel, founder Dr. Zak Zarbock and actress Kristin Davis launched Zarbee’s, the first all-natural, safe and effective cough syrup for children 12 months and older. I was intrigued by this all-natural alternative to conventional cough medicines because I had heard that dark honey had been demonstrated to help relieve coughs. Zarbee’s blend of dark honeys, Vitamin C, and zinc is free from artificial flavors and dyes and it’s effectiveness has been clinically proven. Since the company just released a line suitable for adults, I’m planning on putting Zarbee’s to the test this weekend while I recover. Children 12 months and older can use Zarbee’s and parents can feel comfortable knowing the product is completely drug-free.
Zarbee’s is passionate about families and the are looking to find the most hilarious parenting stories out there! Whether it’s a disastrous mess, an embarrassing public moment, or a gag-inducing story, Zarbee’s was to hear it. Now through November 4th, you can enter their Hilarious MOMents Contest by submitting your MOMment on their Facebook page. The grand prize is a $10,000 dream family vacation.
Zarbee’s is available at retailers nationwide, but you’ll save $1 if you purchase it at Walmart.
I participate in the Walmart Moms program and am compensated for my time and honest opinions.
