'Tis the season to bake! This is the time of year when sweet treats abound. I absolutely love to bake, and while I do enjoy the occasional dessert, the true joy of baking is sharing those delicacies with friends and family.
Around this time last year, I participated in a very special cookie exchange in the "sweetest place on earth" with the sweetest kids. For... Read More »

Just when I think that the number of ways chocolate can be enjoyed has been exhausted, The Hershey Company goes and proves me wrong! : ) One of the company's newer product lines is their bite-sized versions of your favorites packed in a crunchy candy shell. Pieces launched in 2009 with Almond Joy, Special Dark, and York and they're about to introduce a new variety...... Read More »

Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, both of my children's school parties will be held during the day which means I'll be busy this weekend working on something creative to bring in. I love peeking at Celebrate With Hershey each season for inspiration on recipes and crafts. Like these Pumpkin Favor Pouches which would make an awesome "thank you" gift. Here... Read More »

For some reason, some of the most memorable moments with my kids involve food...and messes! I remember the first time we introduced my son to S'mores. My dark haired little boy was a dark chocolate mess. But the smile on his face was something I'll always remember. He w... Read More »

With all of this talk about camping and S'mores, you're probably wondering when (or if) we're actually going to take the plunge. The hubby and I have indeed decided to take a camping trip this summer...with two small children...two very, small children. I'm so excited about creating these types of outdoor adventures with our family, and my goal is to provide some sp... Read More »

I am sitting in a hotel room in Atlanta, watching Chopped on The Food Network, trying to process the wealth of information I received during BlogHer Food. It seems kind of appropriate that I should talk about chocolate, given the fact that I've eaten more of it in the last two day... Read More »

We have a busy weekend ahead filled with brunches, birthday parties, and a host of Easter celebrations. Since food is such an integral part of Easter traditions and celebrations, I thought I'd share some of my favorite chocolate-themed recipes from the company that knows a thing or two about chocolate.
Each season, the Hershey Company offers new products and a ho... Read More »

This Monday, adults and children across the country will exchange cards, flowers, chocolates, and gifts. Being that I'm very much a chocoholic, I wasn't surprised to learn that chocolate is the number one candy gifted on Valentine's Day and is preferred over flowers and jewelry.
The Hershey Company recently introduced an entire collection of heart-shaped, pink, p... Read More »

Super Bowl and Valentine's Day are coming up very quickly this month and I know that many of us have chocolate on the brain! While Reese's and York Peppermint Patties will remain my all-time favorite chocolate candies, I do enjoy the diversity offered in Hershey's Miniatures packages (Milk Chocolate, Special Dark, Krackle, Mr. Goodbar). And with the big game comin... Read More »

What do you think of when you hear the word Hershey? Chocolate, of course. But after my trip to Hershey, PA, I'll be thinking of more than just chocolate when I hear the word Hershey. One of my most memorable visits to the Sweetest Place on Earth was our cookie exchange with a group of boys and girls at the Milton Hershey School. For children who are in unfo... Read More »

From the looks of it, you'd probably never guess that I really enjoy camping! I remember camping in a tent at Lake Perris and waking up to being stuck in the sand while camping at Pismo Beach. And then there was the food...Rice-A-Roni (is it still around?), Kraft Macar... Read More »

I couldn't finish my Valentine's Day gift ideas without telling you about my favorite kind of candy...chocolate! If you can believe it (I can't believe I'm admitting this), a day doesn't go by that I don't eat chocolate in some form. Hot chocolate, cold chocolate, chocolate chips, and dark chocolate are my favorite sources...but anything chocolate will suffice.

The combination of the holidays and pregnancy hormones seem to put me in the baking mood. My husband knows that I don't need a whole lot of excuses to bake. For years I've been making thumbprint cookies with Hershey's Kisses for Christmas. It's a tradition and they're so easy to make. Plus, I like every excuse to eat chocolate!
During the holiday season,... Read More »

I'm having a pregnancy chocolate craving. Oh wait...that's nothing new! Halloween is still 10 days away but I've felt like we've been getting festive for weeks! We live in a private community with a lot of children, so we're expecting a lot of trick or treaters this year! We like to offer healthy snacks in addition to candy so parents and children have choices. ... Read More »
