In January, Cirque du Soleil’s OVO will debut under the big top at the Santa Monica Pier. If there is any show that would be appropriate for children, I would venture to say it’s this one.  OVO takes guests into the world of insects as they work, eat, play, and fight.  I was reading about the show earlier this week and was very intrigued.

This Saturday, December 17th, families can get a sneak peak during OVO from Cirque du Soleil’s Family Day.  Activities include face painting and activities from little junebugs, a balloon artist from Send In the Clowns, KOST FM’s road crew with music and activities, cupcake decorating from Sprinkles Cupcakes, an interactive animal exhibit from Prehistoric Pets, snacks from Bouchon Bakery and Madame Chocolat, juices from Cuties Juice, and a special appearance from the Cirque du Soleil Truck.
