My son is probably going to go just a bit nutso over the fact that this Wednesday, we’ll be hitting the red carpet for the premiere of Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension! The film, which is based on Disney Channel’s #1 animated hit comedy series, is set to debut on Friday, August 5th at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the Disney Channel and Saturday, August 13th at 8:00 pm ET/PT on Disney XD.

Here is a brief overview of the film:

The movie, with a sci-fi twist, follows stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb on their biggest adventure to date…to another dimension! They finally discover that Perry the platypus is actually a secret agent who battles the forces of evil on a daily basis.  Their adventure takes them to another dimension where Dr. Doofenshmirtz as taken over the alternate Tri-state Area.  Find out how they attempt to stop his takeover this week when the film premieres!
