It’s almost intuitive…whole wheat ciabatta sliced, the bottom half layered with a pesto aioli, 2 slices of turkey breast, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, shredded carrots, olive oil, and red wine vinaigrette.  The sandwich must be cold and sliced in two but not on the diagonal.  Have you ever thought about the perfect sandwich?

I’ve teamed up with Hellmann’s and eight other bloggers for a fun foodie campaign called Club Sandwich.  We’re kicking the campaign off next week in New York City with Bobby Flay, who knows a thing or two about simple delicious food. The Hellmann’s website has several videos featuring Bobby Flay demonstrating  tasty gourmet sandwiches and we’ll be sharing our own tips and recipes throughout the campaign.

Since I’m a Cali girl and some of you are here on the West Coast, I should clarify that Hellmann’s is synonymous with Best Foods.
