Umi’s Fresh Spring Line *Giveaway* Published on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 by

I can finally see hints that Spring is on the horizon! It’s time to trade in those winter coats and boots for spring threads! One of my favorite children’s footwear companies launched their stylish new line, just in time for Spring.  My daughter is finally old enough and mobile enough to require shoes, so she’s been sporting these Adelaide shoes in Chocolate!

Perhaps you’ve heard that the best way for tots like my daughter to learn to walk is to let them roam free, sans shoes.  And while we definitely allow this when our little girl is at home, it’s not comfortable or safe when we’re out.  The ideal shoe is one with support, grip, and flexibility.  Umi is committed to providing it’s littlest of wearers quality, comfort, and style. Each shoe is handcrafted and tested for safety and durability and is made from non-toxic drum-dyed leathers which meet strict guidelines for child safety.

My son has been wearing Umi shoes for almost two years now and we’ve been impressed with their durability and comfort.  The shoes are also adorable and up-to-date with the latest in children’s fashion. The Adelaide shoes, which are available in Ruby Red, Black, Chocolate, and Fuschia, feature a fun polkadot pattern inside the shoe and scalloped ribbon embellishments on the outside.  The style is adorably versatile and can be dressed up or down for your little fashionista!

One of the things I really like about the company is the fact that they categorize their shoes by size and age, offering three different lines for babies, little boys and girls, and big boys and girls.   I also appreciate the fact that the company provides size chart and ruler to ensure you are obtaining the proper size, as I understand how difficult it can be to order children’s shoes without having the child try them on.

    Well, my first choice would be the Aspire Color White (though there are the fresh light greens and pastel pinks in this cute scallop sandal too), Item 33003-100 Size 22. It’s such a super cute spring shoe. Yet, since it might not be available we’d be happy with the Adelaide in either Ruby Red or Black, same size.
