Chuggington: Let’s Ride The Rails! *Giveaway* Published on Monday, February 7, 2011 by
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations Toni M!

If your child is a fan of Chuggington, they’re going to honk their horns when they hear the traintastic news that a series of episodes will soon be available on DVD.  On February 8th, the very first DVD, Let’s Ride the Rails, will be available so that trainees like my son can watch the show when it’s not airing on Playhouse Disney.  My son adores the show, but doesn’t usually get to watch it unless we TIVO it because it’s on when he’s asleep in the wee morning hours or at school in the afternoon.

Chuggington follows Wilson, Brewster, Koko and the gang as they learn to become working trains.  Let’s Ride the Rails features six episodes which follow the trainees as they get lost in a deserted town, handle an important responsibility in the safari park, and discover that the repair shed isn’t a scary place.  The music is fun and catchy, the trains are friendly, humorous, and relatable, and the messages are positive and educational.  Some of the lessons children learn throughout the episodes include overcoming fear, responsibility, and problem-solving. There is also an emphasis on friendship, teamwork, and courtesy.

Let’s Ride the Rails will be available beginning February 8th!  You can see a preview on their Facebook page.

Win It! One of you will win a copy of Let’s Ride the Rails on DVD!  Simply leave me a comment with something you like about the show. Comments will close on February 22nd, 2011 at 11:59 PM PST.  US Residents only.  Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. My two-year-old loves Chuggington (or Choo Choo Pen as he calls it). We watch it all the time “On Demand,” and are tired of seeing the same four episodes. We’d love to win this DVD!!! My little guy loves all the colors and trains and I love how every episode Wilson, Brewster and Koko learn a valuable lesson. It’s a wholesome cartoon and not creepy like the other train one. :)

My son is only 6 months old, but when he is fussy all I have to do is sing the theme song of Chuggington and he quites down and listens. It always helps when I have to take him to the doctor or he is impatient when we are out.
