Two Marriott giveaways in one week, you ask? Why absolutely! Summer is here and what better way to enjoy it than by taking a little vacation (or staycation). My husband travels for work and very often, his company will put him up in a Marriott hotel. As a Marriott Rewards Member, he earns points every time he stays at a Marriott hotel including Marriott Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, Courtyard, Residence Inn, Fairfield Inn & Suites, TownePlace Suites, SpringHill Suites, and Marriott Vacation Club. Points can be used towards hotel stays, frequent flyer miles, cruises, car rentals, brand-name merchandise and more.
Marriott recently launched their Instant Redemption Awards which allow members the option of using their points any time during their stay for spa treatments, room service, or to cover part of their hotel stay. While I personally like to save up for something big, it’s nice to have the flexibility to use points upon check-in and throughout the hotel stay.
So what can 20-30,000 points get you? I did a little bit of searching and here is what I found:
Marriott Dinner for Two Award Certificate 20,000
3 day weekend rental of a full size car 25,000
Up to 5,000 frequent flyer miles or 4 mileage credits 20,000
Blue Experience Voucher – Example experiences include – Indoor Skydiving, Dump Truck Racing, Vineyard Tour, London Rock ‘n’ Roll Legends Tour for Two or Makeover and Photoshoot. 25,000
50 Gift Certificate for The Luggage Club 22,000

I would really love to have extra points to give my three sons a well deserved vacation… Going into my 5th year of being a single parent it has been has been tight… So i am limited to what i can do… It has been hard!!… Money is very tight after my home robbery…It left me with much less and back injuries.
So i can only provide the small things.. I do have all the love in the world for my sons. They ask for very little… So if i were to enjoy extra points..I only have 2,000 now… Oh boy would i treat the boys in San Diego for a few day stays over wonderful family picnics and some fishing they would love not to mention a Padre Games would be tops…So if i win this would be something… Or if any one just can’t use them, then i would so enjoy having them and be soo honored to receive some……I love Marriott…..

I am tempted byseveral of the choices that Marriot offers. I came very close to adding the Dinner for Two to compliment the Nights Stay that I would like to plan. Instead…if I had the chance, I would throw in a free night and use it directly following an already booked night as a surprise for my Husband. Just when my Hubs would be packing up to leave I would tell him to relax and that we were being treated to another night! It would kinda be like getting ready to get up to go to work and then being granted a day off even before you got out of bed!
