Father’s Day Gift Guide 2010: HP *Giveaway* Published on Thursday, May 13, 2010 by

My husband and I have two computers worth of photos.  I would venture to say that half (or more) have never been printed.  I appreciate the quality and convenience of digital photography, but I have to remind myself to actually print the photos.

HP’s Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web printer offers the ability to print without a PC with the touch of a finger.  The printer also offers access to web content with applications (much like a smartphone) like Google Maps (to print off driving directions), Fandango (for movie tickets and showtimes), and Weathernews Inc.  DIY dads can even access photos store on Snapfish without ever turning the computer on. Retails for $399.99 ($299.99 with $100 rebate).

If you’re looking for a cost-effective printing option, check out the HP Photosmart Plus printer.  It offers the convenience of printing, copying and scanning and includes templates for printing calendars, notebook paper and  Sodoku puzzles (to name a few).   What’s nice about the printer is that you can crop, edit and print family photos using the full-featured HP TouchSmart Control Panel. Retails for $149.99 ($134.99 with $15.00 rebate).

My husband and I decided the best thing for our family was for him to go back to school and train for a different career. He is a full time student and is doing so well in school and unfortunately because of me being the only one working we dont have any extra money to do anything for Fathers Day. He is a wonderful husband , father and man and he goes out of his way to try and help others as much as he can and I would love to be able to show him how much we appreciate him and how proud of him we are this Fathers Day.
