The Happiness Exhibit *Giveaway* Published on Sunday, March 21, 2010 by

My husband always teases me about the number of pictures I take.  Whether we’re on a family vacation or just visiting Disneyland for the day, I could easily take 50-100 pictures per day.  Photos are one of the best tangible ways of preserving memories (just make sure to print them!).  I often look at photos of our time spent in Europe or our son as a baby.  Photos are a simple way to capture a moment in time.

Last week, Lay’s potato chips launched a nationwide campaign asking Americans to help create the world’s largest “Happiness Exhibit.”  The goal is to create a digital work of art made entirely from photos that you submit.  Now through May 31, 2010, you can visit the exhibit and upload photos showcasing simple, happy moments.  The site already houses numerous photos (many of which are stunning).

The Happiness Exhibit was created on the premise that the happiest moments in our lives are the simple ones.  I couldn’t agree more.  From the exhibit, Lay’s will select photos to be featured on millions of Lay’s potato chip bags sold nationwide and in commemorative ads in issues of PEOPLE magazine.  What a great way to showcase your photos and gain some exposure!  If you’re aiming to be featured in a special Mother’s Day ad spread for the May 10th issue of PEOPLE magazine, be sure to upload your photos by March 31, 2010.  Similarly, there will be a special American Summer-themed ad spread in the May 24th issue and photos must be submitted between April 1 and 18th, 2010 to be considered.

My husband and I spent the early part of our marriage living and traveling all over the world.  Here are some photos that represent our happy moments:
