Happy Birthday Snapfish! Published on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 by

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Linda (#58). Congrats!

Snapfish, a company I’ve worked with for over 2 years, is celebrating it’s 10th birthday on April 1st!  To celebrate, the company is proud to announce the release of Snapfish Publisher, a program which will “allow designers and developers to create, share and sell their own creative card designs, photo book layouts and apps to market and merchandise throughout the worldwide Snapfish network.”  Snapfish Publisher will be available beginning this summer, but take a peak here.

And here is a bit more information about Snapfish Publisher from the site:

Snapfish Publisher will allow designers, developers and printing partners to reach more than 85 million registered users through the worldwide Snapfish network, while delighting new and existing consumers with a broader yet more specialized portfolio of customizable options that meet a myriad of creative needs and personal preferences.

In addition to announcing the release of Snapfish Publisher, Snapfish is hosting a virtual birthday party with special anniversary discounts and promotions to thank customers for sharing more than 10 billion of their more meaningful memories. Promotions and prizes over the next 10 days will include digital picture frames, Snapfish gift certificates, the HP Mini 311 Series, and the HP Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web, the world’s first web-connected home printer, which features a Snapfish app for accessing and printing photo albums (check out my previous write-up here).

If you’re on Facebook, you can check out the offerings here.

Lastly, Snapfish has announced a new partnership with Life.  One of the things I really appreciate about the company is their partnerships.  Some of my past favorites include their partnership with Philosophy, Leap Frog, and Make-a-Wish.  The company now offers photographs from the LIFE archives to Snapfish users.  Right now you’ll find greeting cards, note cards, and notebooks with over 100 of the most renowned images from their archives.  Prices start at just $1.99 which is superb!

Win It! To celebrate Snapfish’s 10 year birthday, the company is offering one of you a $50 GC to the store.   Simply leave me a comment with a specific product you like from the site (you can leave the name or link).  Comments will close on April 15, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST.  One comment per person, please (unless you do the extra credit). US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. If you don’t want to leave your email address, please be sure to check back for my announcement on the winner. Please note that winners must respond within 48 hours of being announced/contacted or another winner will be drawn.Want an extra entry? For my hubby’s bday, we made him a Snapfish photo wall calendar. He LOVES it. We had so much fun picking out the photos to use, and you can even put pictures on the individual days (pic of the dog on his bday, for instance).

I made her a photo book several years ago, and she keeps it by her chair and looks at it often. I’d love to make her another one with lots and lots of family and friends in photos for her memories!
