Umi…A Little Spring in Their Step Published on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 by

Spring is almost here and I’m ready for warmer weather and park days.  My son is a busy little boy, running and jumping and playing.  And because he is so active, he needs a supportive pair of shoes.

Last fall, I introduced you to Umi Shoes.  The company makes quality children’s shoes, “designed with children’s feet in mind.”  Their shoes are made from the highest quality nappa and nubuck leather.  They’re also stylish and functional.  My son already outgrew the shoes I showed you in the fall, but he got plenty of use out of them.  He ran and jumped and played in them and they never once fell apart.  I say that because I have had shoes that my son has worn fall apart.

Umi’s Spring line just launched and they have a wide variety of stylish designs, many of which are sandals.  My son received the Kennesaw sandals from their UmiRana line. They feature a rubber sole with grip and a velcro closure (for easy on and off).  The sandals are supportive (I like the ankle support they provide) and breathable and can be used in the water.  The shoes are also very flexible which is important for children’s growing feet.

Umi’s commitment extends beyond children’s feet!  They are committed to creating quality shoes with non-toxic materials.

Umi Shoes retail for approximately $50-$60 and are available for purchase on their site.

I did not receive compensation for this post.  A product sample was provided to facilitate this review.

Those are really great looking and I like that they can be worn in the water!
I’ll have to send this info to my DIL for my ever growing grandson. Thanks for the update on the spring line. :-)
