Ultimate Beauty Giveaway Published on Thursday, February 4, 2010 by

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Karen Pochodowicz.  Congrats!

Before I had children, I spent time and resources on products designed to help make me look and feel good.  Becoming a mom, as wonderful as it is, results in sacrifices.  These days I take 5 minute (or less) showers, wear my hair up in a clip more often than not, and rarely put on makeup.  The amount of time I get to spend on my beauty regimen has diminished significantly.  I don’t get to go to my stylist or makeup artist as often.  If I want to pamper myself, it has to be with beauty products I can use at home.

To celebrate a special woman or mom this Valentine’s Day, I’m hosting a very special beauty-themed giveaway.  One of you will win all seven of the following products.

1. Le Baby Inc., Hair Gel (RV $9.95)

Le Baby Hair Gel is a styling gel free of harsh chemicals meant to define wispy curls and tackle unruly after-nap hair. From taming those wild fly-aways to smoothing frizzies, Le Baby hair gel works on all hair types and is hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.  Le Baby Hair Gel is hypoallergenic, free from parabens, harsh chemicals, sulfates, and fragrance.  It will thicken baby-fine hair, tame frizzies & fly-aways, softly hold curls, moisturize, and keep hairstyles in place without leaving hair stiff or sticky.

2. PowerHouse Hit the Deck (RV $19.99)

Simple, easy, effective: a cardiovascular and strength training workout at the same time, as well as an effective tool to combat stress and the Cortisol Crisis™.  The PowerHouse Hit the Deck can help you to lose weight, burn fat, and add muscle tone, provide cardio and weight training exercise at the same time, expand your ability to handle and recover from stress, improve your overall levels of fitness and wellness, allow for flexibility, offer variety by providing wide range of effective exercises, deliver an excellent workout with no fitness equipment, provide a great way to cross-train, and improve the quality of your sleep.

3.  SOTHYS Aroma-Sothys Energizing Bath Essences Tablets (RV $26)

Effervescent, playful and revitalizing bath pebbles which enrich the bath with their tonic and energizing fragrance.

4.  Gone in Sixty Seconds (RV $19.95)

Gone in Sixty Seconds is a powerful formula that activates on contact to visibly erase fine lines and deep wrinkles – in just seconds!  A scientific blend of oxygenating peptides, micro-collagen and firming proteins tightens, firms and reduces puffiness all day long. Features the following:

  • InstaFirm Protein:  An exclusive protein technology that instantly starts to firm skin and plump up wrinkles, creating younger looking skin – within seconds
  • OxyPeptide: Naturally derived peptide that is clinically proven to increases skin respiration and oxygenation by as much as 754%
  • GABA: Naturally produced in the body to relax muscles, eliminating the need or desire for painful injections
  • Micro-Collagen: Delivers a boost of collagen to the help firm the skin
  • Patented Delivery System: Advanced patented technology time releases key ingredients all day long

Gone in Sixty Seconds visibly firms fine lines and deep wrinkles, rebuilds skin firmness, and is free from Propylene Glycol, Parabens, Synthetic Colorants and Synthetic Fragrances.

5.  LashFood (RV $129.00)

LashFood is a new natural conditioning stimulant for thicker, stronger and more beautiful lashes in just 2 to 4 weeks.  LashFood’s breakthrough natural ingredients, including Biotin an essential vitamin, Arginine a natural amino acid, and herbal extracts, helps promote the natural growth and strength of eyelashes and eyebrows. The result: your lashes become thicker, darker, and longer with this revolutionary conditioner.

6.  Phyto-C Skin Care: Eye Return Gel (RV $48.00)

This nourishing and hydrating eye gel is superb for softening the delicate areas surrounding the eyes.  With zinc sulfate and citrus bioflavonoid as a few of the active ingredients, this eye treatment boosts collagen production and reduces the appearance of lines.  Eye Return Gel prevents the premature signs of aging around the eyes and provides ultimate antioxidant protection.

7.  nuNAAT (RV $27.46)

NuNAAT’s Chocolat Special line is designed to restore chemically treated hair’s natural velvety shine and splendor as the unique formula contains Cocoa Butter and Brazil Nut oils to revitalize and restore moisture. The alluring chocolate fragrance is also a special treat for those looking for a little extra self-indulgence.  Products include Chocolat Creamy Shampoo, Chocolat Shake Conditioner, Chocolat Cream Mask, and Chocolat Anti-Frizz Therma Active.

Le baby inc. contains no chemicals, parabens, sulfates, etc. and still moisturizes!

From powerhouse performance, I learned that they teach clients to expand their capacity to handle stress as well as to recover from it more quickly and efficiently, allowing them to better perform in today’s competitive business environment.

Sothy’s has a salon about 35 miles for me! Awesome!

The makers of gone is sixty seconds, also make Counter Clockwise: Under Eye Treatment that looks amazing as well!

Lash food is a system made to grow your lashes longer, and it comes with nano-peptid eyeliner as well! A 4month supply is only $109 right now!

Phyto- C Skincare’s creator, Dr. mostafa M. omar is a professor of pharmacognosy from the univeristy of Rhode Island!

NuNAAT cosmetics has over 80 years of history from Brazil, that carry different types of body and capillary treatments.

    Love this giveaway:

1)Powerhouse: I liked the instruction on how to make your own walking work station. I work from home and can see my treadmill from my desk, but have never found a way to integrate the two. So this excites me.

2)Gone in 60 seconds: Being in my mid 40s – I like the fact that this product erases fine lines “instantly”.

3)Phyto C: I like that this product boost the bodies production on collagen, for long term result in the fight against wrinkles.

4)NuNAAT: I dye my hair and this does cause damage, so I like the fact that this product is made specifically for chemically damaged hair.

    Thanks :-)

If Powerhouse Hit The Deck can help manage my stress and get me motivated to workout, I have to try this regiment. Stress is a motivational killer and I like that they are targeting that in their workout regiment.

How can you not want to try a product called Gone In Sixty Seconds? The before and after shots look amazing. I would absolutely love to try it just to see if it is that effective.

I have been told that my green eyes are my best facial feature, but to be honest I don’t try to emphasize them like I should. The product line, Lashfood, seems to really deal with your lashes and the whole look of the eye in a healthy, natural way. I am always one to take care and nuture instead of glamorize, so this seems to be a good fit for me.

Sothys Paris looks to have all the natural ingredients that I love in their scrubs and bath soaks. Their products radiate relaxation and pampering. I would love to try them.

    1. Powerhouse Hit the Deck:
There are three different intensity categories you can work from:
    a. No Sweat
    b. I’m Glistening
    c. Sweating Buckets

    2. Phyto-C Skin Care: Eye Return Gel:
Vitamin C is an antioxidant. I know it may be silly, but I didn’t know that.

    3. Gone in Sixty Seconds:
AminoGenesis is vastly different from other moisturizers for three main reasons. First the water-based delivery system is capable of very quick and deep penetration. Next, AG is totally based on amino acid technology. Amino acids are the very building blocks of all living things on Earth. Amino acids are essential for healthy vibrant skin. Lastly, the hospital approved defense system allows the highest level of germ free delivery of any product available.

    4. nuNAAT
The chocolat special shapoo will restore your hair’s natural velvety shine and splendor. Uniquely formulated with Cocoa Butter and Brazil Nut oils, Chocolat Special revitalizes and restores moisture to hair damaged by the sun, hair dye or other chemical treatments.

    1) I learned that the creator of Le Baby hair gel got the idea when she was searching for a product her daughter Chloe could use for her hair, one that would not aggravate her eczema or irritate her sensitive skin. Since she couldn’t find one, she created one.

    2) I knew nothing about Hit the Deck but found out a lot. Cardio and strength training cards in one box. Set the timer, draw your first card, and do as many repetitions as you can. When the timer beeps, draw your next card. Love it! I have lost 50 lbs since last May and this would be an awesome addition to my routine.

    3) Sothys has been around for over 60 years and is distributed in 100 countries worldwide making it one of the premiere professional skin care product lines ever.

    4) Gone in Sixty Seconds and AminoGenesis products are cruelty free (no animal testing) and do not contain animal by-products.

    1. From Sothy’s I learned that by removing the dead cells which accumlate everyday on the surface of your skin you can prepare your skin to accept your beauty products and ensure that the active ingredients are well absorbed. So your cleanser and how effective it works is key!

    2. From Phyto-C I learned the founder is Dr. Mostafa M. Omar who is the foremost authority on topical vitamin C.

    3. From Lashfood I learned it is FDA approved, which to me is so important!! It has gone through the proper testing and rigorous approval process giving me peace of mind that it is indeed safe to use.

    4. From NuNAAT’s website I learned that nuNAAT offers a line of products specially designed to combine the latest available technology with a variety of natural ingredients, mainly found in the Amazon Forest.

Each site I visited clearly offers products that are unique and are going to work to effectively help to improve your skin/hair and appearance. How fun to learn about such innovative companies and their products!

Thanks for the chance to enter.

    Hello on:

The Le Baby Hair Gel I like that it’s gentle enough for babies but can be used by the whole family.

The Sothys site I learned their line consists of fine French products created by Dr. Hotz, a medical biologist.

The Gone in Sixty Seconds is made by the AminoGenesis Skin Care company and available at select spas across the nation as well as online.

LashFood is applied twice a day on clean dry lashes the same way you would apply eyeliner.

    Thanks for a great giveaway!
