I talk a lot about how my son and I spend time coloring and crafting.  I believe it’s just as important to stimulate my son’s mind and creativity as it is to get his muscles moving and active outside.  Perhaps you’re like me, and struggle to come up with new and interesting crafts and projects. So what comes in each project package?  We received a wooden bank and a tissue box cover to create.  Everything you need to complete each project is provided in the package.  For example, the bank project pack included the wood, plexi-glass, screws, sandpaper, paint, and paintbrushes.   This was definitely a project designed for children older than my son.  So my husband put it together and then painted it with my son.  I actually found the tissue box cover challenging, but not impossible. I like the fact that within each project there are diverse ways of making it unique.  For example, the tissue box project also offered ideas on making a purse and other projects using the materials in the project pack. Some projects are designed for younger children, others for older children.  I have not seen every project available, however, I think that parental involvement is important, particularly with younger children.

I like the idea of a child receiving different types of projects (including some that can be completed in an afternoon v. projects that require more time).  If you decide during your membership, that you’d like to switch categories, that is also an option (but may take a month or two).  Memberships begin at $65 (Project Two-Pack) and prices vary depending on how frequently you’d like the child to receive a project.  You also have the option of enrolling more than one child in the club.  Once enrolled, you’ll also have access to the Kids’ Clubhouse, Parents’ Area, and Grandparents’ Area where you can upload photos of your completed projects, submit your own idea for a project, or obtain ideas for projects you’re working on.
