Uh Oh! Spaghetti Play Doh! Published on Monday, October 19, 2009 by

Fun Fun Fun!  That’s the only way to describe Play-Doh’s Spaghetti Factory.  My son LOVES pretend play and he literally wants to pull this set out on a daily basis.  I’m constantly looking for indoor activities we can do together since I’m getting further and further along in the pregnancy and more and more tired.  Play-Doh is a fun way for children to use a variety of senses to mold, create, and play.

We had an opportunity to review the Play-Doh Spaghetti Factory Playset by Hasbro.  This was my son’s first experience with an actual set (previously we had only used Play-Doh for shapes and figures, etc.).  It’s relatively easy to use (I do have to help him push the spaghetti through) and comes with a play mat, fork, and spoon.  There is the ability to create a variety of figures (like meatballs and veggies) with the 25 half-molds available with the set.  And with four different Play-Doh colors, you can get realistic with this toy!

Children learn through pretend play and toys that use more than one sense help with retention.  Play-Doh offers a variety of playsets to keep kids busy and engaged!  I’m eyeing this playset for my son’s next Play-Doh experience!  You can purchase products online and at a variety of retailers nationwide (and the prices are affordable too!).

This is on our holiday wish list, too! What I love about Play-Doh is that it’s ageless! My 3 year old *and* my 6 year old both can stay entertained for an hour or more… which is eternity in “mommy time”! :)
