Bricktober at Toys R Us! Published on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 by

truLogoI receive a lot of press releases.  If you’re a blogger, then you know what I mean.  Most of the time, I politely decline, saying it’s not relevant to my readers.  Because, to be honest, I spend time weeding through the information I receive, to bring you the best, most appropriate content.  I want you, the reader, to know what to expect when you come to my blog.  All that to say, I find the deals, events, and specials offered by Babies R Us and Toys R Us to be very beneficial.  It’s our go-to brick and mortar store for all-things baby and tot-related.

070x070_logoThroughout the month of October, you’ll find special savings and offers on select LEGO products, exclusive new LEGO merchandise, collectible LEGO bricks (with purchase) during each week in October (which will create a “Bricktober” skeleton when all four are collected), and a special Bricktober day (October 24th from 12 to 2 pm) where children can build and decorate their own complimentary LEGO car and receive an official Bricktober 500 driver’s license (while supplies last).  Afterward, children can race against others!

For more information on the event, check out your local Toys R Us circular!

Oh, I so wish I had a Toys R Us where I live! My son is a LEGO maniac!

Good to know, especially since I have a Lego-obsessed 5 year old! He even joined the “Lego Club” and loves getting his “own” mail from the company. :)
