You’ll Flip For This! I Promise! Published on Saturday, September 12, 2009 by

If you’ve read my blog, then you know I’ve suffered with allergies my entire life.  I don’t want to bore you with the details, but I’ve used practically every nasal spray and antihistamine on the market (I have a great ENT who likes to try the newest medications out for allergies).  My husband is the lucky (and gracious) man who gets to dust and garden because I simply can’t (at least not without suffering afterwards).  Some good has come out of my longstanding history as an allergy sufferer. I’ve learned a lot over the years about how to deal and lessen the severity of symptoms, particuarly during allergy season.

FL!P for Fall_OL

As you know, fall is upon us.  It’s still really warm here in Southern California, but soon the Santa Ana winds will be making me itch and sneeze!  With our little baby on the way, we’re diligently trying to get the house in order for both the fall season and our new little addition.  And I’m working on a very exciting project with Aller-Ease, The Motherhood, and nine other bloggers, called Flip For Fall.  Perhaps you suffer from allergies or asthma.  Or maybe you have a friend or a relative that suffers.  The goal of this initiative is to help you prepare your homes for the changing of the seasons.

allereaselogo.JPGAll ten of us will be sharing tips and a video on how we “Flip” our homes for the fall in anticipation of the changing seasons.  But here is where we all need your help!  As women and moms, we are resourceful and intelligent. If you have a great tip or method that helps you prepare for the changing of the seasons, please share!  Your tip could be included in the Ultimate Flip For Fall Checklist (a guide created by moms, for moms).  Simply go to the site and share your tip, your name, email, blog name (if applicable), and my blog code (just use the code “RM” in your comment on their site).  If your tip is chosen as one of the ten, you will receive a thank-you gift of Aller-Ease products.  Your tip will be used in the media outreach by the American Textile Company on behalf of the Aller-Ease brand (how cool is that?).

And wait…there’s more!  Come back this week to view my video AND enter to win an Aller-Ease prize pack right here on my site.

So…How do YOU Flip For Fall?

And introducing the entire Flip For Fall team!
