Mother’s Day 2009: Create for a Cure with Snapfish Published on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 by

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks for stopping by.  The winner is Cherice.  Congratulations!

Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching and I hope you’re having fun exploring the incredible gift ideas I’ve compiled for you.  I am a sentimental, nostalgic, romantic woman and appreciate gifts with meaning.  If I had a choice, I’d have my husband write me a song, make a card from scratch, or create a photo collage as opposed to giving me diamonds or chocolate (although those gifts would NEVER be turned down).  Photos are a staple in our house.  They artistically line our walls and sit in books on our coffee table.

This Mother’s Day, Snapfish by HP is working with philosophy to raise awareness about women’s cancers. The effort will benefit philsophy’sshe colors my day” project and the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) Women’s Cancer Research Fund.  Now through May 1, you can design and create a personalized “you color my day” photo book, by uploading personal photos, artwork, and custom notes.  It’s the perfect way to show your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, or friend, how special she is.  Snapfish will donate 50 percent of net proceeds from each book created to philosophy’sshe colors my day” project.

The you color my day” photo books retail for $24.99 (which is very affordable by the way) and will arrive in time for Mother’s Day if ordered by May 1.  Why not compliment the photobook with philosophy’s “she colors my day” fantasy bubble bath?  If you visit She Colors My Day, you can listen and download Amy Grant’s latest song by the same title.  All proceeds will be donated to the cause.  And on May 5, Amy Grant will release a four song ep, entitled “she colors my day,” exlusive to iTunes.  Again, all proceeds will benefit the cause.

snapfishphotobook

Right now, Snapfish and philosophy are hosting a Mother’s Day contest.  Forty winners will receive philosophy’s best sellers collection and a $50 Snapfish gift certificate.  The contest ends May 1.  philosophy is also promoting a contest on their Facebook page where fans may enter photos of the women that “color their day” into the Facebook fan photo album. Ten winners will be chosen at random to receive a “she colors my day” gift basket complete with philosophy’s bubble bath, a “she colors my day” keepsake book, and a Snapfish gift certificate.

And if that isn’t enough…

Win It! One of you will win a “you color my day” photo book plus an assortment of products by philosophy.  Simply head on over to both sites and look around.  Come back here and leave me a comment telling me about the book you’d create and for whom, should you win.  Also tell me which Mother’s Day gift idea from philosophy you like.  Comments will close on April 29, 2009 at 10 PM PST. One comment per person, please (unless you do the extra credit). US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. The color my world albums are such a wonderful idea. I’d love to make my mom a 12″ x 12″ signature photo book. It is their largest book. and available with a velvet or leather cover, I would include photos of each of my seven brothers and sisters as well as their own kids, her PRECIOUS grandkids, oh and grandkids

I’ve bought the vanilla birthday cake bath & shower gel before and it was sinfully indulgent. Heck it’s also affordable at 16 ounce – $16.00

I think the “You Color My Day” Photo Book is a fantastic gift to give someone you love and I would love to give something like this to my Mother! She lives out of state and doesn’t get to see our 3 young children as often as she’d like to this would really touch her heart and give her something to cherish when she can’t be here in person. Also, she can show it to all her friends so she can share and “brag” to them about her grandchildren, giggle! I love the Blue Poppies Snapfish book and that is my top choice, so cute!

From Philosophy I would love, love to present her with the “Mom
Deluxe Amazing Grace Gift Set”, this is spectacular and I know she has been wanting to try this scent for the longest time! It would rock her world for sure!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.
