Woolite Power Shot Giveaway Published on Monday, March 9, 2009 by

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks for stopping by.  The winners are
Cynthia C, Sherri G, Kelly L, Jennifer B., Rhonda.  Congratulations!

woolite_logo

So you already know that I don’t like carpet, right?  It gets dirty and stains and provides a nice home for dust mites, pet dander, and a whole other microbial world.  Unless you can afford to outfit your home in hardwood or laminate flooring (which we cannot), then carpet is here to stay.  If you have a pet or a child then you know how frequent spills and stains are.  My son has this really funny habit of turning his sippy cup upside down and pouring the entire contents onto the floor because it amuses him.  It’s not so funny to me!  This results in my need to clean our floors and carpets regularly.

If you’re looking for an effective way to get rid of carpet stains, check out Woolite’s OxyDeep Power Shot.  I tried Power Shot on a strawberry syrup stain.  Before I even attempted to blog out the stain I could already see it lifting.  Check out my video review:

Vlogging with the Vado HD!

Here is are some key facts about the product from the site:

wooliteOxy-cleaning power penetrates deep below carpet fibers to permanently remove even the toughest stains.

Environmentally friendly formula and packaging – biodegradable surfactants, recyclable package and low VOC formula.

Patented odor elimination is great for pet stains.

Discourages pets from resoiling same area, safe for wool, nylon, acrylic, and stain-resistant carpet.

Woolite’s OxyDeep Power Shot is effective and safe when used as directed.  It retails for approximately $4.00 and can be purchased at retailers nationwide.

Win It! 5 of you will win a can of Woolite’s OxyDeep Power Shot!  Simply head on over to the site and take a look around.  Come back here and leave me a comment with something you like or learned about the site AND tell me what stain you need help eliminating from your carpet.  Comments will close on March 23, 2009 at 10 PM PST. One comment per person, please. US residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. I definitely like that it is a enviromentally friendly formula so I don’t need to worry about my kids when they are playing on the floor, which is like all the time!!
I would have to go with all the ketchup and pizza sauce stains that are on my rug. We have rug throughout the living room and dining room, so needless to say when eatting our meals something is bound to end up on the carpet! But tearing it up and putting down new floors is not happening anytime in the near future!
    Thanks for the chance!!

I love the “Enviromentally friendly formula and packaging- biodegradable surfactants, recyclable package and low VOC* formula” part I learned on the site.
I have actually used this product and it works great. I have 7 cats and always have some kind of difficult mess to deal with. I like the part that this discourages them from soiling the same area again. This works fast and effectively and smells good too. I could sure use another one!

I would love to try their fabric and upholstery cleaner. I would use this to get a stain out of my daughter’s area rug in her room. I am really not sure what spilled on it, but I cannot get it out.

I really like that it discourages pets from soiling in the same area. We got a new puppy in Thanksgiving and housebreaking was difficult for a few months. I recently found a stain on my daughter’s bedroom carpet that I’d missed. I couldn’t figure out why her room smelled like urine and now I know. My carpet cleaner really didn’t work that well since the stain is old. I’d love to give this a try because it’s really bugging me that there’s a stain on her carpet.

I learned that the molecule that provides the oxygen cleaning is the O- which is called a ‘free radical’ that breaks away from H2O2 and helps clean away the stain.

I need to tackle…husband stain. That’s right. Husband-gets-gunk-on-his-shoes-and-walks-in-the-house (he’s since been trained better); husband eats in the living room and doesn’t notice he drops crumbs on the floor and then walks on them (I’m trying, I’m trying).

I love that it’s environmentally friendly. With a son who suffers from allergies, I try to look for that whenever I can. This same son has left mud, marker and juice stains all over the place, but there’s one rather large and unsightly spot under the desk that I just can’t seem to get up. I can use all the help i can get!

  • by Ricki March 21, 2009 at 11:08 am

I love that it has this – Oxy-cleaning power penetrates deep below carpet fibers to permanently get the stains out. I have pets and unfortunately they pee pee in my carpet. This would really help! Thank you.

  • by Auriette March 22, 2009 at 9:14 pm

The stain I would like to remove is actually multiple stains, which come from sharing a home with multiple cats of the hairball-spewing variety. I’d really love to try the OxyDeep Power Shot. I also like the Portable OxyDeep, with the handy built-in brush!

As a pet sitter, I babysit little dogs in my home who sometimes have “accidents” on my carpet. I would love to try this product because Oxy-clean has a good reputation as a good cleaner.

  • by Melissa Barnes March 23, 2009 at 8:58 am

The best part of this product I think is that it discourages pets from going in the same spot. The spots that I need it for are the pet spots that I just cant get out of my ivory carpet.
