If you have children, then you know how vital it is to have a proper vacuum. A vacuum that actually picks up what it’s supposed to pick up! I can almost taste spring and that means it’s time to clean…time to ready my house for summer…for family…for get-togethers! It also means that some areas of my life that have not been attended to (i.e. my car) need some tender-loving care. One of the things I’ve learned about keeping the house clean is to do something small on a regular basis. Doing this helps me avoid spending an entire weekend on a cleaning spree. Having a full-sized vacuum is essential. Do you know what else I like to have on hand? A cordless hand vacuum. We live in a two-story house and dragging a heavy, full-sized vacuum up and down for spot clean-ups becomes very tiring.

There are places that crumbs, dirt, and dust hide and are not readily picked up by a full-sized vacuum. Couches, corners, and my car stand out in my mind and this is where a hand vacuum comes in handy. This lightweight hand vacuum is very powerful. It picked up my son’s Cheerios and crumbs in SECONDS. I used it to clean my car and I even dusted the windows with the brush attachment. The integrated 2-in-1 dust brush and crevice tool is probably one of my favorite features. Have you ever tried using attachments on a hand vacuum? They come right off as soon as you turn the vacuum on and start using it in that nook or cranny. Hoover designed this vacuum so that the attachments are “attached” to the vacuum making it easy to use them or “flip” them away when you’re not using them. The other feature about this vacuum that stood out was the design. Doesn’t it look ultra-mod? Well…it’s actually designed ergonomically to keep you comfortable while using it. I would like to have the Light-weight bagged upright.
My current vacuum is bagless and frankly I hate emptying the dirt cup-dust flies everywhere and then I practically have to vacuum again.

I want the hand vac! Ok, but I also need to replace our old canister vac – i HATE that thing! I have to haul it around after me, it bangs against my legs, falls over – what a pain! Oooooo! The Cyclonic Bagless Upright is perfect for our house. We ALL have allergies and the bagless helps with indoor allergies. We also have half carpet and half non-carpet. Alas, no hardwood – it’s all tile, stone, and cork… yes, you read correctly. Cork. Super for the environment and for our allergies. A bugger to clean though and this vacuum does it all! Woo-hoo!

i like the fact that not only are the batteries long-lasting and interchangable, but you can also buy another one so you have a backup if needed.
