If you have children, then you know how vital it is to have a proper vacuum. A vacuum that actually picks up what it’s supposed to pick up! I can almost taste spring and that means it’s time to clean…time to ready my house for summer…for family…for get-togethers! It also means that some areas of my life that have not been attended to (i.e. my car) need some tender-loving care. One of the things I’ve learned about keeping the house clean is to do something small on a regular basis. Doing this helps me avoid spending an entire weekend on a cleaning spree. Having a full-sized vacuum is essential. Do you know what else I like to have on hand? A cordless hand vacuum. We live in a two-story house and dragging a heavy, full-sized vacuum up and down for spot clean-ups becomes very tiring.

I was so excited when I learned that I was going to review Hoover’s Platinum Collection Cordless Hand Vac. There are places that crumbs, dirt, and dust hide and are not readily picked up by a full-sized vacuum. Couches, corners, and my car stand out in my mind and this is where a hand vacuum comes in handy. Here is a little more information about Hoover’s Platinum Collection Cordless Hand Vac from the site:

This lightweight hand vacuum is very powerful. It picked up my son’s Cheerios and crumbs in SECONDS. I used it to clean my car and I even dusted the windows with the brush attachment. The integrated 2-in-1 dust brush and crevice tool is probably one of my favorite features. Have you ever tried using attachments on a hand vacuum? They come right off as soon as you turn the vacuum on and start using it in that nook or cranny. The Carpet Shampooer is my favorite
I would love to have the SteamVac Spin Scrub TurboPower Carpet Cleaner. My carpet was filthy when we bought our home. We have 7 indoor cats and this capet cleaner would be a God Send. The multiple brushes would do a wondeful job scrubbing my carpet.
The LiNX cordless products from the Hoover Platinum Collection look really great! I would LOVE to have a vacume that worked well and didn’t have a cord! Great giveaway, I have kids and could use a vac for quick clean-up.

Ok, but I also need to replace our old canister vac – i HATE that thing! I have to haul it around after me, it bangs against my legs, falls over – what a pain! We need an upright! I adore the carpet cleaner, it washes, removes dirt from different angles, and DRIES the carpet all at once! Wow, great and thorough, I’ll get to go dancing tonight after I finish the chores! Stepsisters, don’t wait up!

I like the Platinum Cyclonic Bagless Canister the best. I prefer bagless vacuums b/c I don’t like changing bags. I have really bad allergies and messing with those bags and the dirt and dust in them really kicks my allergies up. I like that is has no loss of suction. Multi-stage cyclonic filtration system means that the air going thru the filter is cleaner than the air that was pulled into the vacuum so that the filter will stay clean longer, and the vacuum will have no loss of suction when cleaning*

I love this, and I also love the Cordless Stick Vac in the same collection. I have a heavy duty vacuum, but I need something for quick jobs.
I learned that Genuine Hoover Parts, Supplies and Accessories are Always in Stock and Ship Next Day from the Hoover Website.
I learned that Hoover has one of the best warranties available for vacuums, 6 years.

The Carpet Shampooer. I actually had a stomach flu attack my carpet today. Yuck.

I like the upright Cyclonic Bagless Vacuum. I can almost hear the suction and dirt leaving the carpet. mmmm.

I like the Platinum Collection Cyclonic Bagless Upright. I think the Embedded Dirt Finder with its indicator light to let you know when your carpet is clean is fantastic. I usually just wait for the all the crackling noises to stop and then still see I missed stuff.
