I have ALWAYS worn glasses! I don’t even remember when my mom figured out that I couldn’t see distance, but it was definitely at a very young age since all of my school pictures are taken with me wearing glasses. It will probably come as a shock to you that I’m actually not fond of glasses. I wear contacts 90% of the time and that is because I have yet to find a pair of stylish AND affordable glasses that actually compliment my face.

This also results in me choosing the most expensive frame. I think it’s been at least 4 or 5 years since I’ve bought a pair of glasses and I plan on changing that! I was extremely surprised at the prices. This WILL be the place I get my next pair of glasses .

My glasses even with simple frames usually run quite high, between the progressive photogray (my eyes are sensitive to light), progressive bifocals (a little vanity here) and because the lightest lenses available that will still allow the use of the photogray (I’m very nearsighted), the glasses still ran a good 1/2 of what I paid for my current pair.

Eyeglass frames are crazy expensive, the last time I needed new ones all I could afford was to put new lenses in my old frames so I have had these frames forever it feels.

I just found out I need glasses I have never had them before. I don’t have a clue how to pick glasses for myself I am guessing maybe the frameless ones would be best for me just so it would not be so noticeable at first 100.00 toward my first pair of glasses would be a blessing.
