I am going to get a little vulnerable and share with you something that I've struggled with since I was a teenager. Â As a woman, we all feel pressure to "fit the mold." Â Actresses and models don't accurately portray most women. Â I remember the embarrassment I felt getting dressed for gym class as a teenager in high school. Â I've never been obese per se, howeve... If you can believe it, I have baskets full of brand-new, never opened bath and body products. Â I still haven't figured out what I should do with them since they're full of parabens and phthalates. Â I can't in good conscience give them to someone or throw them away (can you imagine my carbon footprint?). For now, they've taken up permanent residence under my bathroom... Read More »

I can't put my finger on exactly why I've been feeling so stressed since we went away to visit my in-laws over Thanksgiving. It's like I've suddenly lost my ability to multi-task. I feel like I don't have enough time in each day to get everything done that I want and need to do. I even had my parents come to stay with us for a few days in hopes that I would be... While I like a clean house, I can be a little puritanical about getting my hands dirty.  I love laminate flooring but they need to be cleaned every other day because of the amount of sand and dirt that gets tracked in.  Unlike carpet, there is no hiding a dirty floor.  The sponge mop I've been using is terrible...seriously!  It moves the dust and dirt all around....
