This season, I have the perfect gift idea for all of the feline fans in your life. Freelance designer and illustrator Jane Seabrook, the author of the popular Furry Logic book series, has just completed her fifth book, Purry Logic. Young and old alike will love this clever little book filled with endearing feline satire and whimsical watercolor paintings.
I initially thought that this book was solely for children. I was so wrong! My son loves to look at the pictures and says “cat.” I like the book for it’s hilariously accurate quips about the life of a cat and it’s relation to “life” in general. I just love this saying: ”I hear the call to do nothing, and am doing my best to answer it!” I so wish I could say that about my life! Such is the life of a cat!

Cats are nice for when you are having a quiet night with a book. They’ll sit on your lap and keep you warm and purr a little. Dogs are nice for when you want some fun outside. So, am I a cat lover or a dog lover? Yes.
I honestly love cats & dogs equally. I live in an apartment & am only allowed kitties, so I have 2. But when hubby & I move into a house we plan on adopting some dogs too.

Several of the paintings remind me of cats I have now or have had in the past, but I think my favorite is #18, which reminds me of my sweet Indy.
My favorite painting is #17 … because it puts a smile on my face too!!
