When news broke last year of
Fisher Price’s recall of lead-tainted toys, I set out to find the safest toys possible for my son. My natural inclination to gravitate towards big toys with bright colors and loud noises was replaced with a newfound fondness for traditional wooden toys. I was walking through
Whole Foods one day and happened upon some
PuzzlePlaysets while perusing the baby aisle. My son was only a few months old at the time but I made a mental note of the company behind the sets so I could look into them more for my son. That company was
ImagiPLAY whose efforts are aimed at creating quality, educational toys that inspire imagination and exploration.

ImagiPLAY is committed to providing safe toys from renewable, sustainable resources. Their wooden toys are derived from chemical-free rubberwood and many are hand-painted with child-safe paints. Check out their
website for more information on their safety standards and commitment to the environment.
This week Kristin enjoyed testing out I
magiPLAY’s Counting Bunnies Puzzle with her 4 1/2 year old little girl. This puzzle is designed to teach your child how to count. I wholeheartedly believe that play and learning go hand in hand. Profuse thanks to
Parent Reviewers and
ImagiPLAY for this review opportunity.
I was overjoyed to receive and review the “
Counting Bunnies Puzzle” by
ImagiPLAY. First of all, I just LOVE wooden toys. They harken back to a simpler time and in this day and age of lead and toxins, as a mom, I feel safe letting my children play with this. It is also hand painted and the colors are bright and bold.
I love that the bunny puzzle is ordered by number and color so as the numbers change, so do the colors. I believe that this really helps children to grasp numerical order. Also, I love how the pieces fit together. It is great for dexterity and fine motor skill coordination.
I have children of three different ages and all three of them loved this puzzle and actually fought over who could play with it. I would recommend this product for 2-5 year old boys and girls.
ImagiPLAY is a great company and I thank them for making quality, safe products.
